Every euro funds cataract surgery, dental care, or HPV vaccinations in Samburu and Marsabit County.
€1,000 each. One new donor per team.
The €1,000 is a floor, not a cap — most participants raise more.
Beyond the individual amount, you team up with 3–5 others to bring in one major donor together: a high-net-worth individual, a corporate sponsor, or a foundation.
Each team is paired with a Health Yetu staff member who works alongside you on every part of the fundraising — outreach, pitch decks, presentations, and closing the gift.

Five things that work.
- Tell your story. Why you're climbing. Who it funds.
- Launch early. Most gifts come in the first two weeks and the final two weeks.
- Ask your employer about matching. Many companies match employee charitable giving 1:1 or higher.
- Update your network monthly. Photos from training. Notes from prep.
- Thank every donor by name. A line in a follow-up email. A photo with their name in the caption.
A note on tax deductibility.
Health Yetu Foundation is a Dutch stichting with ANBI status. Dutch donors may be eligible for tax benefits. Donors elsewhere — consult your tax advisor.
